The Diner

Went for breakfast with the family and we had traditional pancakes with maple syrup, black currant pancakes with a yogurt, and halloumi cheese with spicy tomato rolls. The children had milkshakes made from ice cream and the filter coffee was as much as you could drink. We were the only ones in there at the start, but it soon filled up, and the atmosphere was fun. Staff were friendly and the service was reasonably quick. The cost was pretty average, and the food was really good. The kids have demanded we go back to try the burgers.

We were heading for somewhere else, but ended up here. A classic 1950's diner, with shiny plastic seating and bar stools. We had the Mexican burger and the Greek burger, with nachos and one of their amazing cocktail shakes. All very good, and a good price. Definitely coming back to try their desserts.

Excellent breakfast: Mexican and Alpine. High quality eggs and ingredients. Would recommend. Relaxed diner atmosphere. Hot chocolate is tasty. Only do filter coffee which wasn’t the best tasting but £2 free refills is good value. Ice cream menu is fun. Best place locally to take a toddler as not as cramped as other cafes nearby.
