Charcoal Grill

We are staying locally at an airbnb and found this restaurant whilst looking online for recommendations. We are originally from North London, so Turkish restaurants are a common eatery for us. We were surprised to see how empty it was as the food and service were amazing. Fresh, homemade cacik, baklava, and dolma, to name a few. We were thoroughly impressed. If you are visiting or live local, please visit and keep this restaurant open! Oh, and the Turkish delight is the best we've ever had. Absolutely beautiful food.

We went for a evening meal for the first time without the kids in quite a while. Ideal for couples and small parties / groups etc. Real authentic music and décor including the menu. There were so many items we liked from the cold and hot choices, we had one of the sharer mezes - one hot & one cold - Slightly greedy but it's meant we got to try pretty much everything. All were really well made, tasty and by the time we finished we were worried we might not be space for the mains. My partner had a lamb kebab & I had the kleftico - Kleftico was cooked to perfection and just came straight of the bone. I was lucky enough that when my partner became full so I got to try the lamb donor as well which were beautiful cuts of meat. We shared a pudding which included the Turkish delight - Not the Fry's chocolate stuff - The real Turkish delight - Beautiful cubes of Heaven! Toilets were clean & all the staff were friendly - I think this is very much a family business of which they came out to greet the customers We will definitely be back & I will happily put this on trip advisor as well ☺️

This was an awesome restaurant. We all really enjoyed it. The waiter was attentive and nice. They had a good bar but...all of that is second to the quality of the food...it was all delicious. So good. I highly recommend the iskender, it tastes amazing. Get yourself to this restaurant. You will not regret it.

Loved the food here, very tasty and it was quiet so service was swift. The calamari was particularly good, though the hot sharing starter could have done with some sort of dip. The main courses were also lovely, though mine was very spicy, despite no mention of chillies as an ingredient on the menu. Loved the Turkish Delight, and I'm not usually a fan.

Great Turkish food and nice ambient atmosphere. Lovely decorations take you for a travel and you might feel like you are somwhere else other than Stroud. Some good vegetarian options are avaiable, although it would probably be more of meat lovers choice. Great to have a Turkish food option in Stroud. Definiately worth visiting.
