Brilliant place good food I love their steak ale pies massive it doesn't mater if you are a local if someone has hired the place you won't get served food. I've never experienced that from any other pub so I don't go back there again my money isn't any good to them I'll go elsewhere

Wow! What a place!
First of all the food, delicious 🤤
The service - what a wonderful people. We were with two tired kids and they served us with such an understanding.
Lastly, we rushed out of there to make it back to Birmingham and left my sons tablet. We took a drive there the next day and it was there !!! So grateful for the wonderful people there !
Must visit :)

As always a local English pub that doesn't imitate motorway services. Proper customers, proper people serving them. Food is "proper" food!

Cycling past this pub for years .
Decided to pop in for a meal and beer and was blowen away by the lady at the bar and her kindness.
The food was fresh, and vegetables were crisp and tasty. Local eggs used for my ham and egg meal.
The outside sitting location is small but nice to kick back
Inside is clean and bespoke. It's small but so nice and friendly
I got speaking to the locals and was so welcoming.
The prices for beer and meals were exceptional. The best pie i ever had.
