Spotty Pots Studio And Cafe

Spotty Pots were fantastic hosts for our school trip in October. 3 classes of 13 children with special needs each went to paint their own ceramic tile and the staff were very patient and supportive. The building is well designed and we enjoyed having use of the upstairs room. Would definitely recommend!

We visited Spotty Pots as a family of four (2 adults and a 7 & 10 year old) on Saturday lunchtime and had the most fabulous time. The range of items was absolutely fantastic with some seasonal items as well as items you can use all year round. The staff were amazing and could not do enough to help – they shared their knowledge and ideas which made the day even more special (especially for someone like me who is artistically challenged!). The food and drinks were delicious with menu items to suit everyone. The venue itself is really great with loads of space to move around and with plenty of privacy if you not as confident showing off your creations. Thanks everyone we will definitely be visiting again!

Absolutely fantastic place to visit for a fun few hours of creativeness! They have such a wide range of pottery to choose from (both functional mugs/bowls/plates and adorable figurines), as well as paints and paintbrushes. Everything is fairly reasonably priced. Staff are lovely and happy to offer advice if asked. There's also a fantastic range of drinks/cakes available to order! Would definitely recommend a visit.

Had a lovely morning painting with my two children. Spotty Pots is a calm and inviting cafe with a gorgeous selection of locally sourced cakes (I had a very tasty cruffin- see picture) and a good selection of drinks. All of the staff were very welcoming and answered all of my children’s questions. We felt very well looked after. Thank you so much!

My daughter and I went to Spotty Pots today. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and it has such a relaxed and stress free atmosphere. I'm disabled and it was wonderful to go out somewhere, to sit and spend time together without needing to rush. We loved our day and we can't wait to collect our finished creations!! Thank you for a lovely experience!

Fantastic staff, helpful with a love and passion for the art. Wide range of pottery for you to paint yourself. We took 3 sittings to paint our dragon. All paint, guidance, and service were faultless. Highly recommended for all age groups. Please ensure you book in advance as it is only a small coffee shop.

I was walking past, but took advantage of a sleeping toddler in the pushchair and went in and had some "me time". It was wonderful. Such lovely ladies who run it. Ladies were all super helpful and friendly and very approachable. There is so much choice for painting and the prices are really reasonable. Its a really simple process, I didn't book a table, but there was space for just me, I think if there's more than 2 of you, I'd recommend to book a table. With it being the summer holidays, I was told that my item will be ready to collect in 10 days time, which is really good! Can't wait to see how it's turned out, I chose a rectangular tea light holder which cost £15, that included the item, paint choices and firing which I think is fab! Looking forward to visiting again soon! 🥰
