Been here a few times now. Service always warm and friendly. Went to Istanbul in the summer and was missing the food - this was the perfect place! The platter for 2 was ideal as you get to try a bit of everything. We moved into the Snug last time for a post dinner cocktail too! Will be back !!
Warm welcome, great food. Extensive menu so take your time to choose. We asked for recommendations and weren’t disappointed. Lots of choice so choose well. We didn’t need starters for all, sharing was good enough. No desert although was a good choice. The restaurant goes back quite a way so do have
Came here for the first time for a family birthday meal. They catered for all dietary needs (including those of us who wanted plainer food), the food was excellent and we had a great time! The staff were friendly and so helpful, nothing was too much for them. Definitely recommend Alaz!

Food was extremely fresh and really tasty as well as decent portions. Starters / Meze weren't for me as was very cheese heavy but after eating my main I was glad as I couldn't have eaten anything else!
Absolutely delicious food, you leave very satisfied and full. Staff always very friendly and the place is based in an old traditional style building, historically a Brewing House (for Mauldons Brewery). Highly recommended.
