Lovely hotel with amazing staff. Rooms were spotless. We'd have appreciated knowing that there was no lift, after the first night the lovely lady in reception kindly moved us from the 2nd to 1st floor as we were both struggling with two flights of stairs. We'll know next time. The only main downside
Thank you to the lovely waitress in the Restaurant yesterday lunch time. Our family had a super lunch to celebrate my neices last Radiotherapy treatment. The waitress was so friendly and gave us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to celebrate. A very kind thought and we'll appreciated
Had a couple of nights away on travelzoo. Was well worth it and will definitely return. Good location for walks and surrounding area. Had small bites one evening and all very good. Breakfast was good full English. Bar staff very hard working and patient under pressure. And a big shout out to all st

We had an enjoyable 3 nights at the Mill Hotel. Bedroom was comfortable, warm, tastefully decorated. Lots of hot water, large white towels, coffee machine. Lovely views over the meadows and Mill pond. Staff were lovely. Food is good, caters for vegetarians with various choices.
Lovely hotel overlooking the meadows. Staff marvellous, very friendly and nothings too much bother for them, they go out of their way to make your stay memorable.

Sprawling hotel full of character. We sat in the bar area with a fabulous view over water meadows in front of us, the old mill wheel revolving slowly behind us and a roaring fire to one side. The brunch was very good, you can even design your own using the menu extras. Attentive service too. 10% dis
Beautiful views from the hotel. If you like nature and walking this is a good hotel to stay and relax. Dog friendly and delicious coffee with amazing terrace panorama. Short walk to town centre. Will come back!
Always come here for birthdays for afternoon tea. Great selection of sandwich's / cakes although wish there was a bit more savoury things, due to my personal preference. Great gluten free options too
Stayed a few times at this hotel. The last time we stayed they have removed the facility to register a card to your room and pay your bill on departure. So you now have lists of receipts at the end of your stay and not one final bill on check out!
Had an enjoyable family meal just after Christmas. The service was prompt and efficient. The food was presented well and tasted lovely. Overall we had a pleasant time and will no doubt return in the future.
Lovely friendly welcome, despite the heating not being in, the room was sweltering, (not expected at the end of october) so we had the window open all night. Only downside to this was the room facing the road so traffic was an issue, and the bin truck going round at 5.45 was a bit of a wake up call.
It is a lovely hotel in a lovely setting. We booked via travelzoo and that often means being put in the outer edges. We were put in a room I'm the cottage which could have been signed and numbered more clearly. Also as have sight problems would have been usefuk to have signs warning to the small
What a lovely place for a short break, our room had a view of the meadow, food was excellent and staff friendly. Excellent walks from outside the hotel yet walking distance from town centre. Thoroughly recommend.
