Dropped in for quick catch-up with an old haunt from way back , lunchtime Friday warm well lit and fine selection of ales obviously managed cos staff we’re welcoming and bubbly (didn’t have obvious money worries with this cost of living crisis)

Very friendly pub, great staff, great drinks. You can order it bring takeaway to the pub too, which is excellent. Overall a really well run place, highly recommended.

No food just snacks but this didn't spoil our visit as the Brewery Tap offered a fantastic atmosphere and a lovely outside courtyard space a lovely surprise. Definitely, will be going back again

Absolutely love this real ale pub, super friendly (including the pub dog Silver). Selling locally brewed beer by Mauldon's - a Sudbury institution that have just celebrated their 225th year. A proper pub in a lovely town.
