Absolutely love this real ale pub, super friendly (including the pub dog Silver). Selling locally brewed beer by Mauldon's - a Sudbury institution that have just celebrated their 225th year. A proper pub in a lovely town.
No food just snacks but this didn't spoil our visit as the Brewery Tap offered a fantastic atmosphere and a lovely outside courtyard space a lovely surprise. Definitely, will be going back again

Friendly, comfortable pub serving a good range of beers along with a range of other drinks and snacks. They don't usually serve meals but they will let you eat your own takeaway at a table. They also maintain a calendar of social events including live music.

Had a fantastic tasty pint and a lovely catch up with my mum,the barman was very Friendly and John the landlord introduced himself, a real pleasure to visit. will definitely make it a regular proper pub to visit.
