Fantastic little tearoom! Cute decor and friendly, helpful, staff. We had omelettes and cakes and then took home scones. My cheese scone was delicious and the gluten free scones were the best that my friend had ever tasted! I wish we lived nearer..

This gorgeous little tea shop is - thank goodness - very close to my house. My "lunching ladies" visit it regularly so I was very worried when I got my Coeliac diagnosis recently, that all that was over 😟. I rang and was completely reassured by the owner's daughter who is coeliac herself and her mum does the cooking. So I know there is awareness and experience of what GF protocols are required. I had a lovely lunch and felt completely welcome. I recommend Strawberry Teapot without hesitation - give them a ring 1st so they know you're coming.

Found this charming tearoom when visiting. Food was delicious, don’t normally eat cakes but the Bakewell was divine, Definitely on my list of favourites to come back too.

We had an afternoon tea. The tearoom is lovely, intimate and decorated to a 20s style. The service was excellent, welcoming, attentive and very friendly. The Food was fantastic... all looked and tasted very fresh... and definitely homemade. Couldn't fault it. We would highly recommend an afternoon tea here and we will visit the tearoom again for sure next time we're in sudbury. Thank you

My Wife and I popped in for food and drink. My Wife had gluten free panini . I went for the Make your own omelette which was mushroom , cheese , bacon . Lovely and fluffy omelette with plenty of filling inside , crisps and salad complementary with the food. Staff very friendly and polite . Would recommend coming here. Gluten free options available.

To the wonderful owner and staff at Strawberry Teapot, My story starts with a trip planned to this cafe with my mum for her birthday, and will hopefully help to reassure other wheelchair/powerchair-reliant customers :) Accessibility: The owner had a conversation with us to tell us about their accessibility (there is a step at the front of the store, but access to the outdoor seating behind the cafe without steps). - I use a powerchair, which can't, unfortunately, be lifted up with the help of others, but other smaller wheelchairs will still be able to be lifted up past the step on the front door. Despite this powerchair hurdle, we sat outdoors, which was beautifully arranged with summer plants. Food Allergies/ Dietary requirements: My family is a mix of vegetarian, vegan, and meat-eater people, which was no problem at all to the staff at the Strawberry Teapot! We had booked in for an afternoon tea and were served three separate food servings (a three-tier cake stand per person), filled with sandwiches, cake, scones, and biscuits. These were delectable, and we were even allowed to take the cakes we didn't eat home with us (they were too good to leave behind!). Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful time and will not hesitate to book again. If I could, I would fetch fresh scones every weekend (they were THAT good). Thank you to all the staff there that helped to make the afternoon tea special, you are all wonderful people, and I have no doubt that you will make every other customer's experience just as wonderful. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
