We popped in for lunch. Our second visit which was 5* just as our first visit was. My husband had the burger. I had a bacon bagette with salad. Bakewell Tart and proper custard to share. Excellent value for money. Presentation was very good. Large portions. Very good quality and very fresh food. The place was very clean. The staff were all very helpful and polite. Nice gardens. Coffee is Costa. Adjacent garden shop is brill for both fresh garden produce and quality plants at unbelievable prices. It is now our favourite place for brunch, lunch or just a coffee. Well worth a visit. I think you will be pleasantly surprised 😊 It is well signed that they only take cash payments.

Food are generous and tasty. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very happy to find the little gem in the way to Alton Towers. Will visit again next time to the resort.

My wife and I always call here when we are over from Germany. Excellent food and ever so friendly staff. The meals are so delicious and the prices are unbeatable. limited menu today due to training taking place at the diner, but the food we had was lovely!! my mushroom omelette was beautiful. Great conference facilities, well looked after by all at the site, everyone helpful and polite. we have already prebooked future meetings!!

We called in for our mid cycle ride coffee stop. We were disappointed that breakfast wasn't being served, but great scones and coffee made up for it. Superb value for money. Well done, guys

We visited here for lunch. The food was lovely and fresh. The staff were lovely too, very helpful. My first visit but I will certainly go again. And then we went and bought plants from the garden centre next door.

Unusual place to have lunch, a prison, but this was great. The place was spacious and clean the staff were friendly and efficient, and the menu was just right for lunch. Portions were very good (recomend the apple & blackberry crumble) and prices were extremely good. Loved it.

3rd Visit in3 weeks, I challenge you to find a better meal at this price anywhere.(even double the price) The service from staff is superb, super friendly and polite. Please don’t be put off by where it is , you would be so wrong.
