Firehouse Tavern

If they want to seat you in the back room - I suggest you just pick a different restaurant or come back later... The food is good but the service was really bad. I think if you get seated in the back room they forget about you and it takes forever to get service or attention. We started off with pretzeI hoses which were ok. I had their version of the French dip which was really good. Wifey had their fish and chips which was really good. Their Mac and cheese is really good. It took literally an hour and a half to eat there... I think I would have been better if we were seated in the main dining area but oh well.

The atmosphere was very nice and good dining experience. Ordered the fish and chips, however it didn't seem to be battered on the fly / in house so was a little disappointing. The French dip style sandwich (not sure on menu name) was good overall, was not a huge fan of the bread choice but it was decent. I will definitely give the menu another shot and order something different next time.

My first time back in Sudbury, OH in a few years. I returned to Firehouse Tavern, still the same great place! Staff was friendly and the food is still great. I had the Bacon & Bleu Burger medium rare, it was cooked perfectly! I don’t travel to this area frequently, but I will always return to the Firehouse when I do.

Everything is wonderful on the menu from the made from scratch wing sauces to the hand breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. One of my all time favorites is the homemade Bleu cheese dressing (the homemade ranch is also amazing) The wings are to die for also. I typically order traditional, bone-in, but The Firehouse Tavern is an exception on boneless. They are large chunks of all white breast meat, breaded on the fly... This place is definitely gem 💎 highly recommend it to all.
