I'm here a few times a week and the staff are so friendly ... do anything to accommodate you ... food is lush and such a good price .... don't even get me started of the cocktail promo .... FAB xx

The cocktail menu is deffo worth a go!! Many were 2 for £5-£7 such a bargain especially on a Saturday night too��
Popped in this morning for breakfast with my teenage son and dog. One full English, breakfast burger and dog sausage later and we rolled out full and happy. Comprehensive menu, plenty of drinks and staff were lovely. Very good all-round.
Visited a few times in the past couple of weeks with my baby daughter whilst we have been visiting at the hospital and other things . The staff are very polite and obliging, and often bring the beer to my table as I'm otherwise engaged 🍼🍻😅 so top marks there and ofc I will return. They do a good few pints of real hand pulled ale and keep them in tip top condition. Well done, good team. 👍👍👍5stars (apologies re the "Greggs" on the table it wasn't me) 🙈
Was served and looked after by Megan on Monday and she was honestly incredible. Even while busy she always made extra time to check on us, kept the dogs water bowls refreshed and gave amazing recommendations. We were in for most of the afternoon and had a lovely time, food was decent, drinks were reasonably priced and we all look forward to returning when back in Sunderland.

Great service by all, our function went amazingly and I can’t thank Alex enough for all her help through the process of the event and answering all my many questions. The room was decorated beautifully and made the day extra special. Lily who was serving us was lovely too. Definitely recommend this place for functions.
Decent food and ales. Service was good from Alex I think the till said. The older woman was helpful and friendly too. Only let down would be the other skinny girl with shaven head, found her quite rude when serving me and was looking at her phone when serving me. Other than that couldn’t fault the pub
Decent food and reasonably priced, the pub is massive and spacious, staff were lovely and helpful, as chain pubs go this one seems well managed and above the rest 👍
Breakfast was diabolical ,Sausage was hard eggs where snotty the whole thing luke warm at best. Very poor,
Manager offered a complimentary meal after we had this meal second visit and food was very good, service was spot on and more than made up for the poor food the first time , well done and thank you !
Came for food and Becca on the bar was so helpful and ran around none stop! She helped my son into taxi who wasn’t well! Five star service from start to finish! Please pass on our comment to her
Great pub never ate food but it looked OK for fast foody pub.
