The wall tiles and marble bar top in the rear bar were worth the journey from Surrey just to see. Very rare.
Not my type of pub, music a bit loud and no bitter, but it's a locals pub So the landlord caters for those who are local and regulars. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to see the tiles

Recently popped in for a pint and some food. Under new management, very friendly & great service.
They are keen to distance themselves from old management, and not at all representative of the other reviews in reference to Russia and that tw@ George Galloway.....
This was the previous management!!!!
Staff are very kind & friendly. Good food, good deals on drinks, beautiful historic building, excellent live music entertainment on that night and was informed live music from local talent will be a regular thing going forward.
I'd definitely recommend and will be returning 😊
