Really nice cafe with a broad range of cakes I think they also do cakes for birthdays and other celebrations if you ask them in advance. The shop also sells toasties and pastries like steak bake. There are teas coffees and a lot of things like iced tea or iced mocha. The best part is that it's dog friendly and they were really sweet to my dog when he was there. The bringer water and have some treats for the dogs.
We found this place on Google and went in on Sunday, we had the tiramisu cake to takeaway it was so light will definitely be back again very soon. The lady was so polite.
ordered a cake for my parents golden wedding anniversary, had not been here before and found it on Google located close to my work address. It has to be the best cake I have ever had made for an occasion. So light and fluffy, beautiful taste and looked exactly how I had requested. Great communication by staff and so welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and have already been back for treats.
I went to this place for the 1st time today, drove past it 100 times, and why have I never been inside??? A hidden gem, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their produce. We were spoilt for choice, sweet and savoury. We had an apple crumble slice and the blueberry/lemon scone, which both were phenomenal, fantastic flavour and surprisingly light; this was washed down with a beautiful coffee. Very reasonably priced also.
Popped in with my wife this morning and was really impressed with the choice of desserts, hot and cold food and drinks.
I’d been hankering for something sweet and so had the Snickers cheesecake and my wife has raspberry cheesecake. Portions were more than enough and they tasted great. Really light and flavourful.
I had really nice cuppa and my, wife the cappuccino.
Great presentation and service and the staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. I had a bit craic with the owner too (lovely guy).
As our son didn’t come with us, we took away a huge chocolate brownie sandwich which I may have to help him with later.

Went today for the first time (and definitely not our last). We each had a goats cheese toastie and an energy smoothie, followed by sharing a piece of tiramisu cake. All were excellent (especially loved the smoothie). The cafe was very clean and tidy. The staff friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend a visit

If you’re looking for amazing cake, you’ve got to order from here! The Rainbow cake we got was AWESOME! It was super moist, the flavor was great, and the frosting was excellent. It also doesn’t hurt that we got it for a great price. We will definitely be ordering from Pati Cake again for our next celebration, or maybe sooner! 😍😍

Black Forrest Slice the Cherries cream and Kirch packs a beautiful punch and the Rum Cake, if you like Rum you'll love this, it's thick and stodgy like a brownie... with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream would be a perfect desert.
I've found a Gem in the Middle of Sunderland and I'll definitely be back again. Beautiful cakes and very friendly staff. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
