Had a beautiful Sunday lunch with my great grandchildren aged 7 and 8. My 8 year old great granddaughter had chicken and pork,my great grandson and myself had the chicken..The yorkshire puddings were to die for. We just left enough room of the most delicious sweet. My great grandson tried the Panna Cotta for the 1st time,he would have licked the plate clean if I had let him,lol My great granddaughter tried the ginger cake,she stated she would have liked a bigger piece only because it was so delicious.I had the Panna Cotta as it's my favorite. Visited today for the 1st time. We got 2 ginger ales, squid as a starter, and English breakfast and pork as our mains. Everything tasted very nice! We would have had dessert, but we were too full haha (we'll definitely come back to try desserts!). We sat by the window which was lovely, but the rest of the restaurant seemed a quite dark. Overall would recommend!

Stumbled across this place by googling “restaurants near me” and thought I’d give it a try for Sunday lunch with family. The starter of belly pork pieces was phenomenal and the beef brisket main course was cooked to perfection, as was the veg and gravy and Yorkshire pudding. We try a different place each week and this little gem is up there with the best to date. Hats off to the chef and friendly staff. By the way photos are of a recent lunch which was once again superb.

Sunday lunch with family. Welcomed as soon as door opened. Led to the table at the back. Was like private dining. Chose beef it was beautifully cooked. Melted in my mouth. Great range of vegetables. Cooked to perfection. Fantastic food, excellent service. Was an amazing experience. First time there but definitely not my last
