How cannot be amazed by this spectacular restaurant! They really made my 20th wedding Anniversary feel completely special. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The duck, what a duck! I had one of the best fig dessert in my life. Please make it permanent! The environment couldn’t be more pleasant with calm music and people really enjoying around you. And last but not least, THE STAFF! I think every restaurant should learn with this stellar team. THANK YOU! Well done! You deserve much more stars that I can place here.

🍽️ It was a 3 course meal set at £58 - came with 4 delicious breads and Turkish delight at the end too🍬. ————————— 🍽️Starter was tuna carpaccio & veal tartare. Main was duck breast & lamb. Dessert was lavender panna cotta and soufflé (the special dessert of the day so not on the menu photo). ————————— 🤍10/10 loved the extra bday dessert & confetti on the table

Even though we tried to leave any prejudice about gourmet experience behind, and despite being aware of what we were going to, the size of the dishes served still managed to dissapoint us. If it hadn't been because of the cheese course we ordered as an extra to the 5 course menu for each, we would have walked out of the place hungry. I understand that the focus is in the tasting experience, but other than the lamb course and desserts, the dishes served weren't even remotely amazing, and what drawed the attention about them was how some of the ingredients were added with the apparent and sole purpose of making the description of the course larger (i.e. black olive, and there were literally two thin slices of an olive...?) to the point it was silly. Like, why would you serve a dish with a quarter of a soft boiled egg, or one single small mollusc? I don't think it would hurt them to increase the size at least so that the sum of the five courses would make up for a proper, normal dinner so that an average person would be satisfied. Two other things that bothered us: the long wait between courses (the dinner took us 2 hours and a half due to long waits mainly), and that the waiter stood right next to our table chatting with the people on the adjancet table often and for way too long, which felt a bit invasive and uncorfomtable. What we enjoyed the most were the lamb course, the dessert and the cheese board. As an overall, I think it is fine for one time, but wouldn't go for it agian.

Really enjoyed the lunch tasting menu. It was excellent for the price and the wine flight was very well paired. The bread basket was also top notch. Service was good but not exceptionally fast. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an upscale leisurely lunch that is high quality in a relaxed environment.

An excellent lunch! The two of us went to celebrate a special occasion and we weren't disappointed...I had booked the table about 6 weeks in advance and I had been looking forward to this. I felt the tasting menu largely improved as the meal went on; the amuse bouche (a 'watercress mousse' with sundries tomatoes) was decent enough as a snack (good flavours but not keen on it being lukewarm). The following three courses were very nice, and the final savoury dish (an outstanding chicken breast with mushroom duxelle, creamed leeks, truffle biscuit, and chicken jus) and dessert were excellent. For a £50 five-course tasting menu, it was far better value than you'd find elsewhere in London. Service was friendly throughout, though a little slower than expected; it was busy but we were in there for over 3 hours. Overall this was well worth the expense and I wouldn't hesitate to book again for a special visit...the extra little touches the team provided for us (glitter on the table, a personalised menu) really made it memorable.

We came here on a Thursday evening for an anniversary dinner and it was an excellent experience. Service was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the normal tasting menu and the Vegetarian / Pescatarian tasting menu with matched wines and throughout the food was on a very high level. I spent 1.5 years in Paris and have to say that the French Table is on the same level with the best French restaurants I dined at. Definitely worth the high price tag. Will come again!

Courses were nice but quite small, it has got an expensive menu but I would say it is worth it! The service was good but slightly slow. Loved the dessert it as it literally melts in your mouth. Can't really fault it to be honest. The whole bill came upto around £600 between 5 of us so its a little tip if you want to try this place to take in mind that it is not going to be a cheap eat.

What a little gem of a restaurant! We had been waiting the best part of a year to book here as every time we have tried to book, it’s been fully booked for the next four weeks. It was well worth the wait. We booked the tasting menu, 5 course for £45 each and matching wine included for £80. Every course was delicious. More importantly, I think the service was second to none. It’s also incredibly stylish, clean and beautiful setting. We’ve already booked our next meal!
