You can always rest assurred you've chosen the right restaurant when half the customers are greeted with handshakes and kisses indicating they visit on a regular basis.
I can understand why the Red Rose is popular; the staff are very friendly, and the food is fantastic value for money. The decor may be a little "rustic" (yes I am a snob), but I think that adds to it's charm. We went to Joy recently across the road, and found the staff to be rude, slow to serve, and the food more expensive (so the plush decor doesn't mean a good meal).
I would strongly recommend the Red Rose for a great curry at a reasonable price.

Having lived all over London and eaten a lot of curry I am very happy to declare this to be one of the best places and it's my local. Exactly what you want in a curryhouse.
Only ended up in this little gem of a restaurant because I have family in the area that I was visiting, but they really do have gorgeous food here.
Great curries, good sized portions - not too big, not too small. Would recommend it if you're in the area because there aren't that many good places to eat in Surbiton!
I ate here years ago...it's nice to see that it is still around. I remember the lamb vindaloo was fantastic...very hot....but very good.

This is a fantastic place to eat. The best Indian in the area by far. Great down to earth place and the food is to die for. I am always surprised by how value for money the place is. Loads of food and drink for not that much money in my view. Go there trust me.
Friendly staff and always pretty good service. Food is generally very good but had some slightly dissapointing dishes that were a little greasy. But very few. Shashlik and chefs specials always good. Reliable curry hub of surbiton.
Good Indian restaurant with many traditional British style Indian dishes. It has a very typical Indian restaurant interior, mirrors columns, piped Indian music.
Good honest restaurant, prices are fair and quality is fine. Service was excellent on my two visits and I would be happy to visit there again.

They are the absolute best, the food always 100% and I couldn’t believe it when the delivery driver apologised for being 5 mins beyond the delivery time!?? You guys are awesome!!
