At time of booking stated did breakfast although pack up one. Then on arrival said they didn't. After that didn't see any staff at all. The view disregarding the building works was a fisherman's stretch on a river really nice.
Lovely spot. Our second visit. Outside in good weather is perfect, watching boats go up and down. But for gloomily days indoors is fine. Good pub grub
Stayed here overnight, staff were friendly and helpful, Bed was cosy pretty much dropped straight off to sleep , if you have the window open there is some road noise, but that's to be expected. Food looked nice but didn't eat.

Beautiful decor and a sizeable venue .. highly recommend a visit, especially if the sun is out

Absolutely 100% service, lovely fresh food and excellent service. As I was at a wake, I can honestly say all the staff were extremely respectful towards the mourners. And the buffet was spot on. Can’t recommend enough
Only went for a drink after work, and it was nice to sit outside near the river on a lovely sunny day. It's nice inside also. Friendly staff.

What a fabulous venue, Didn't eat as just nipped in after eating somewhere else. Much to my regret. Food looked fabulous and the customers who had their Roasts was eating with gusto. Will definitely return. Amazing location next to river. Conservatory looking out over it. Staff really friendly

We stopped here randomly and was pleasantly surprised! The food was well cooked and really nice and the bar is possibly the best stocked bar around! Would definitely return.
Apart from some items being sold out which was disappointing for 7pm on a Saturday night what food we had was really well cooked and presented ,I will definately return ,and also the staff were really friendly
Great service, amazing staff and now proper real ale. The addition of Timothy Taylor is a real winner. Landlord is very passionate about the food and drink. This together with constant renovation shows they want to constantly attract new customers as well as continuing to impress the locals! Be here
