The Ferry House - Surlingham - Photo album

This is a busy pub, popular with both locals and visitors. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were quickly shown to our table and our orders for the drinks and meals were taken by efficient staff. As the restaurant was very busy we had quite a wait for our food but portion sizes wer
I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon here. A lovely spot, on the broads. Good food, good prices. Lots of room outside, it was busy always a good sign, the staff were, polite, professional, kind and accommodating. There's a sign outside which proclaims open all day, every day, all year round.
A beautifully picturesque traditional inn situated on the Norfolk Broads - where you can always be sure of a warm welcome by the staff, there is a fantastic selection of drinks on tap, not to mention bottled wines and spirits. However, what really compliments this pub is the food which is nothing sh
Lovely afternoon sat by the river, followed by an amazing meal inside (even though they thought my desert choice was weird). Veggie lasagne was delicious and there's plenty on your plate. I can also recommend custard on the cheesecake 😁
A Great Pub in a Beautiful location . Fully recommended ..... The staff were very friendly and helpful . The service was excellent and the Meals were outstanding . It's a Dog friendly Pub .
A favourite of ours when touring the Broads. We had some lovely lunches and one of my sons grabbed a slice of home-made Viccy sponge in his way out. All was very good as it always is......as is their beer...... and probably the best prices we've seen this week. Highly recommended and will always be
Lovely spot on the broads to stop, we aren't really planning to moor here but found there was space when we arrived and ended up having a very pleasant evening! Stern on mooring and you'll want to use the mudweight. Had a few drinks from the bar and enjoyed sitting in the shade in the garden watchi
Arrived near 11am the cut off time but they were lovely & said they would still cook us breakfast Absolutely lovely huge breakfast & tasty coffee Thank you so much
Free mooring and water. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Service was perfect from the lady that served us. The chef came and spoke to us after our meal and showed us photos and gave us a bit of background of the 300 yr old pub which was lovely. Unfortunately we nearly didn’t go in, on our

We spent another relaxing Bank Holiday afternoon at The Ferry House with the added bonus of a performance from Lee Vaisey - entertaining as ever! Summary - welcoming, friendly, tasty hearty food, relaxing atmosphere. Also, easy free parking! It’s a regular haunt for us!
Travelled here to sample the food and enjoy sitting by the broads. The ferry house is very much a traditional pub. I had a steak and ale Yorkshire pudding with vegetables. It was bigger than I expected and very tasty. The view of boats and river was just lovely to enjoy the food and even a nice filt
Lovely little pub on the river! Lovely friendly lady that served us. Enjoyed a coffee on the water edge watching the boats.
A delightful old local pub by the river, it was a lovely day so we had our lunch outside, very generous portions and despite it being very busy food was only about 20minutes, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely landlady we spoke too was telling us she's been there 15 years, a very pleasant lunch
Lovely location with good ambience. Busy at our visit, so our food order took a little while to arrive. All 3 menu choices were ample, although beef and ale pie was a little heavy on the salt. Friendly service.
We spent a few days in Norfolk in between Christmas and New Year 2019. We googled this place as somewhere to go for lunch and I’m glad we did. Beautiful setting by the river. The staff were really friendly and the food was terrific. All in all we loved it. Would recommend this place to anyone.
