Lovely place. 1st time visiting but will return. The staff are welcoming, friendly and professional.
We had a traditional breakfast with bubble and squeak, as you can see, the portion size is very generous, also a double portion on the scrambled eggs, beans, hash browns. Reasonably priced and a decent size cuppa to wash it down.
Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
The Turkish breakfast is delicious and authentic, highly recommended! It's great for sharing. I particularly enjoyed the pastry with cheese and the grilled haloumi and peppers.
Will be coming back!
Discovered this lovely new cafe right next to the station. Lovely food, good portions, welcoming and cheerful staff.

I agree with the review by “Jamil”. The staff are definitely welcoming and a good experience overall. The only minor criticism I have is that the table could have been cleaned beforehand, but I know this is not always possible.

The Turkish breakfast was truly delicious! The traditional Turkish salami sausage (sucuk) was just amazing! Very generous portions with wonderful hospitality! This place is a little gem in Purley. Will definitely be back!
Great that I found this cafe. Now go most weeks after the gym. Homemade Chilli con carne is a must it’s brilliant.
First time trying this new cafe on a rainy day. Warm friendly and busy. Good coffee and croissant - and an inviting breakfast and lunch menu. Turkish Breakfast sounds good - next time. Pretty outside seating deck too wet today even under the awning, but usually busy. Great to have a good cafe near the station and the past office
Great little cafe by the station. Breakfasts and lunch items were fantastic. Turkish breakfast was brilliant, as was the chicken burger. Good coffee too. Definitely worth a visit.
We visited this morning with my parents and partner for breakfast. It is a lovely decorated cafe with quick, friendly service and a lovely outdoor seating area. The prices were reasonable and there are some weekday breakfast deals available. We had cooked breakfasts (the cafe special breakfast has a fabulous, generous portion size) and the poached eggs that my parents had were beautifully presented and were apparently lovely to eat. Very happy with this little gem by Riddlesdown station and will certainly be going again soon to try their lunch options.
10/10 breakfast, food comes out very quick, great service highly recommend!!
