Every time I've been the service has been warm and welcoming. Food most of the time is very good given the price with the occasional average dish.
But hey....you've got to factor in the price. I'm not expecting Michelin star meals here but something tasty and good value for money.
By that measure, The Snipe pretty much always hits the spot.

Last two times ive been ordered katsu kicking banquet chips were cold, no salt and pepper seasoning on the meal which it states Is on the meal already, tables are never clean, had to ask member of staff to move plates etc which was still there and hour or so more whilst I was there, was there on Saturday the tables and my meal were the same, gone down hill...

I have popped in today with my dog for a quick bite to eat. Great clean pub and friendly staff. The food was spot on and they even had gravy bones for my dog. Will be returning soon.

Great tasting food/ good range of drinks available. (Only pub/restaurant i know local that sell koppaberg 😱) and a good atmosphere majority of the time. Used to have deals on Sundays but not anymore, which is a bit of a bummer seen as that's the day we mostly go but oh well. Whoever planned the toilets/cubicles was a bit of a over sight as there more like kids toilets can hardly get in them but not a deal breaker.

Had a lovely steak cooked to perfection the wife had gammon also cooked to her liking,the staff were friendly and helpful.Julie behind the bar was lovely and helped me with some questions i wasn’t sure of and the rest of the staff were attentive,a lovely afternoon experience will definitely be back.

Amazing food matched with amazing service. Steven is very helpful and always entertains us with a chat. Weekday deals are amazing. Atmosphere is just magnifique, especially with the football on.
