Delicious fresh Italian food! Ambience and atmosphere is so cosy and lovely feels like you are in Italy. They have decorated their restaurant with lots of love and amazing artifacts. Their food portions are very good. Soups are so fulfilling and huge portion. We had different pastas, gnocchi, risotto all were so good. Gnocchi, their homemade pesto sauce and house wine blown my mind. This restaurant is run by a small family, they are lovely people...will definitely go again...highly recommend this beautiful place.

What a wonderful surprise! We were just strolling down the high street and happened upon this diamond in the rough… Truly delicious Italian cuisine, and they even catered for gluten free pasta👌🏽and the home made pesto….. Such a delightfully friendly and sincere service with real attention detail. This has now become our new favourite Italian in the UK! We even received a complimentary scrumptious lemon 🍋 cello and home made ice cream ❤️ You feel like you are not in England after about 5 min of being in here. And all very reasonably priced for London Town. Well done guys, we were very impressed.

I seriously believe that this is probably the best Italian restaurant in UK! And probably better than the majority of restaurants in Italy. Amazing food and quality! Service is simply great. The location is lovely and original! Well done!!!!!

The best Italian restaurant! The friendly staff and owners make this place magic. The atmosphere and the food brought me back home in Italy! The food is authentic Italian (first generation), you can eat and chat with your friends and completely forgot that you are miles away from Italy! It’s really difficult to decide if it’s better the food or the staff. Everything it’s just perfect! We tried different first plates and they were outstanding! And the home made cake just a perfect end of a perfect evening!! Sorry only one picture because we were just so relaxed and enjoying the meal that I forgot to do more… but I’m going back for sure!!!

If you are looking for good homemade Italian food then you should consider this place. Trattoria Liguria is a very smal family run restaurant with capacity for only very few people, and that only makes it more special. They have covered outdoor siting for some Al fresco meals. Inside, it's a bit more rustic and there is an antique/family like feeling to it, which transports you to the past. Although it may not be the best Italian food I've eaten, it's definitely very tasty and comforting. The sauce in my seafood pasta was delicious and there was a good amount of seafood in it too. The garlic bread was a bit of a let down as it had an overwhelming flavour but that may have to do with personal preference. The service was great. The waiter was very thoughtful, kind and efficient. The food was also served with very little wait. For the prices they practice the food is definitely worth the money!

I am almost regretting writing this review because I worry that as more people try this restaurant and realise how great it is that we will have problems getting bookings there in the future. We went there for my daughter's birthday, having told her how good it was. Well, having hyped it up to an insanely high level it really didn't disappoint. The food was exceptionally good, and for the price, which is incredibly cheap, it is an absolute gem of a restaurant. Yes, the restaurant might be very small with maybe only four or five tables (maybe 18 covers in total?) and the decor might be old fashioned, and the music is old songs like Que Sera and That's Amore (which I like by the way!) but don't let that put you off - the food is fantastic and the couple working there can't do enough to make your dining experience unforgettable. The mains range in price from about £5.95 to £7.95 for proper food, and good portion sizes. The drinks are really good value, too, with a bottle of chianti costing £16.90 and a large Moretti draught beer for £3.80. And the bill? It's handwritten - so sweet. (This review has also been posted on Tripadvisor.)

I have been here twice. Once with my friend and once with my parents for my Dad's 71st birthday. Both times the food was excellent! Fresh ingredients and home cooked perfection. The family who run the restaurant are the friendliest and most generous people you will ever meet. Always a pleasure to eat there. I really hope everyone gets to sample how good Trattoria Liguria is!!!!!!!

Small (resto + menu) but authentic restaurant, very tasty food and friendly staff. If you want to try real Italian food... try here .. you would feel the difference between central London Italian and this one .. and the aroma... ummm

Authentic Italian food. Delicious and amazing value. Run by the sweetest most welcoming family. If I could give 10 stars I would. Everything is homemade with love. The pesto is out of this world. Cute cozy and so so welcoming. Well worth a visit. Carbonara is a family favourite. Best tiramisu you will ever ever eat.

Walking through the door of the Trattoria Liguria you could easily feel that you had been transported to a small café in the backstreets of Genoa. The place is compact but atmospheric and the menu can be read in a moment. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant serving pizzas and steaks then this won’t be for you, but if you are looking for somewhere that serves big hearty bowls of pasta packed full of flavour followed by home-made cake and ice cream (all at a very reasonable price) then you really should give this place a go.
