Food was amazing definitely deserved 5 stars. The gravy was the best I've ever tasted and the chips crispy but not dried out. Overall service was amazing and the entire staff deserve a pat on the back.

We went here for Mother's Day and the food, as well as the service was excellent. It was very busy but they had ample staff, and the food was quick and tasty! Lovely atmosphere. On behalf of my Dad "Thanks to Catherine and the team!"

This is one of the best pubs around. The food is lovely. But I'm not liking the fact off so many dogs in there. People even taking dogs into the ladies toilets. I felt very uncomfortable in there. You need to make a dog section and a no dog section area. Not everyone likes them. When dogs stark barking it ruins your meal too. How can you relax?

Pretty quiet on a Monday lunchtime but a great venue to meet up with a group of old friends. Varied menu with a specials menu also. We all opted for different fish dishes which were all good, then couldn’t resist desert, most of up opting for the Old Tin Roof which was wickedly good! Friendly polite service, and a welcome warm fire.

One of our very favourite places and our first choice for steak. We were late to our booking on Friday (phoned up) and the kitchen held off on closing so that they could serve it at our (late!) arrival. The steak is always top notch, but also forgot how good the garlic flatbread is too. The staff are lovely and it's a nice cosy venue too. Next time we plan to go back for a day visit to allow the children in the play area outside.

We thought we would re visit somewhere we used to visit alot previously. It didn't disappoint. Although it was extremely hot, and busy, we were seen to our table, either inside or out (absolutely beautiful twinkling beer garden!!!) promptly. The menu was good, I asked for an off menu basic due to dietary and it was no issue at all. Both daughter and partner choose parmos which they said were delicious. These came with salads, coleslaw and chunky chips. I choose chicken mixed salad and it was extremely fresh and flavoursome. All were served very good. The desserts chosen were hot chocolate brownie and biscoff cheesecake. These were absolutely delicious. I had americano. Overall our waitresses were so helpful and although very busy they ensured we got a good experience and food that was a very good standard. The pub was fresh and well decorated, toilets were extremely clean. We had an amazing night here, we will be back.
