Proper pub for locals, as well as catering to the tourist looking foe the real town. No frills, good food, good service. Always friendly staff, and a nice beer terrace. Had live music on bank holiday weekend, it was heaving and good fun
Live band on the Friday. Great vibe, packed with a wide age mix of locals and tourists enjoying the rock n roll covers blasted out at decent volume. Good selection of beers. Seems a lively venue for a Friday evening in Swanage

Lovely friendly, warm and welcoming pub, with a great selection of beers and ciders. Fun pub quiz on a Thursday night. We didn’t eat here but our kids enjoyed some puddings.
Had a couple of pints here. Garden is fabulous and the bar staff are very friendly. Didn't eat this time, maybe next time.
So sorry but we ate here and it was awful, don't bother. The place was dirty and the staff totally uninterested.

We were all hungry and the dog was welcome. Service was friendly and food came quickly. Unfortunately my fish and chips were not great, the fries were overfried and crunchy and compared to what you get in the chippy for same price the fish was very much on the meager side.
Cosy old style pub, good beer, food and a pool table.
Stayed at the local YHA. Popped in on new year's eve. Treated like a local by the wonderful barman. Decent selection of drinks. The punters were so lovely. Would definitely visit again!
