I always come here when I visit Swansea, and here's why.......
There is a huge choice of food, and they always accommodate any changes you wish to make to the items.
The food is always cooked fresh and tastes delicious. I've NEVER had a bad meal there.
The service is fantastic! Someone will be with you within minutes of sitting down, and of course, they will give you as much time as you need. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
Even when the cafe is full to the brim of diners, the food is never delayed or undercooked. And they will always endeavour to find you a table.
The decor, I think, is fab. I hope they never change it.

Love this place! Impeccable service, welcoming atmosphere - nothing is too much trouble. I’m no coffee snob but I know their’s is top notch. My dad used to go when he was a young man, and I love taking his grandsons there now. A jewel in Swansea’s crown. Never change, Kardomah!

I love coming to this cafe, my nan used to go with her mother and now she loves coming with me and my sister.
Amazing service, the ladies there are so kind and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The food is good quality too, I had the lasagne with garlic bread and it was delicious!!

Such friendly and welcoming staff, love the decor also. Chicken and stuffing dinner was delicious, well worth the price, and the hot chocolate was perfect on such a rainy day. Will definitely be returning soon.

Come here for a wonderful slice of Swansea history, served alongside excellent coffee and food.
Marcus & Louise embody all that is special and genuine in the hospitality industry. No pretenses, they keep coffee and their establishment real ☺️
Marcus remembered where my husband surfs and who his mum was....that's quite something considering she passed away 20 years ago and we've not been to the Kardomah since 💜 No wonder this place has gone the distance.

What an amazing place inside. Waitresses are dressed in proper black and white collared old school uniforms, walking round with jugs of coffee giving top ups. They all give such amazing service! It's like stepping back in time with the decor, its really like the place has been frozen in time, it's a must visit if you come to swansea, especially if your older, you will feel such nostalgia. You will wonder if its been recently done up to look retro and vintage but actually it's just that they've been there many years doing the same thing. It's perfect. Such a wonderful little cafe!

One of my favourite cafe’s in Swansea. Great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Coffee is fab too. Love the decor, like walking back in time, half expected to see my old gran walk through the door. Hope they never change it, it is fab.

First time here breakfast was freshly cooked and quality sausages. Service was very quick, staff were extremely busy and always smiling. We saw a member of staff helping customer in wheelchair which we felt she went above and beyond to help customer. I will definitely return here.

We stopped by for breakfast on a Wednesday morning at 10:00 and had no trouble getting a table, though it was somewhat busy. Good fresh brewed coffee and English breakfast. Service is great and prices are quite reasonable given its popularity. Will definitely be back.
