Came for a Sunday dinner at Juniper place in swansea a couple of years ago and it was absolutely awful, the Yorkshire was dry and the manager explained there were kitchen staffing issues. We thought we would give it another go as the photos on Insta looked nice and recent reviews seemed good.
We had the pork croquettes and calamari to start, the pork croquettes were absolutely stunning, big chunks of pulled pork inside and a lovely flavour, we did enjoy the calamari too. We both went for the roast beef and paid extra for the big Yorkshire, ate it before i could take pics but it was delicious. So impressed, please pass on these comments to your wonderful kitchen team as they have redeemed you!
The only reason i haven't marked it as a 5 star is because i think the waiting staff could be more attentive. The restaurant wasn't busy but drinks took a while and after our plates were cleared we waited about 30 mins to get the bill and we had to go and ask for this as no one came over. But all in all a great Sunday lunch, we will definitely be back 😊
Went for Christmas meal 2017. They forgot the avocado in my starter, but offered to refund it. Duck main was a 9/10- lovely taste and nice veggies. Dessert was nice as well. Good presentation for all food. Lovely views of waterfront winterland. Service could be better.
Really nice atmosphere for our first evening out since lockdown. Quite cosy in the booths. Waitress staff were very helpful Sophia especially. Lovely food definitely go there again.
