Pump House

Booking online was easy and straightforward. Confirmation received promptly prior to booking date. Warm welcome on arrival. Nice atmosphere and clean table/environment. Ordering at table was easy and food/drinks were served promptly and with positivity from the staff. In relation to the food, the sides were great, the dessert was lovely and the burger was awesome - the chips were disappointing though.

Popped in without a reservation for Sunday lunch. We’re sat quickly and, despite being warned of a 40 minute wait, food was with us very quickly. The staff were lovely and chatty and, although the pub was busy, it didn’t feel busy. All in all, one of the better Brains/Marstons pubs I’ve been to. Would return :-)

Nicely cooked rump steak (rare), for the price. Good work chef. Half decent selection of beers. Would eat here again whilst stopping in Swansea for work purposes. It seems a bit off the beaten track if wanting to visit other pubs or bars, but in its favour, it's a pleasant walk around the marina to here.

We were greeted by Tova, who always keeps things ticking over efficiently. She led us to our table and made sure we were comfortable there. We ordered at the bar and the food was served within about 15 minutes. There is quite a varied menu - mostly fairly standard pub food. The Sunday roasts are very good. My roast beef was a bit on the tough side - though last time I had roast beef at the Pump House it was remarkably tender. All staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and the drinks - including the coffee - were a sensible price.

Book the pump house a few weeks ago for a family meal. Safe to say, the experience was lovely. No request was difficult for the staff. I had 6 people in my booking and the staff met all of our needs, a lovely atmosphere and also views of the marina. Beautiful food and great deals on cocktails! We will be returning.
