This restaurant has one of the kindest staff I’d ever met. They were so friendly and kind to me and my friends. It’s an Indian restaurant. The space looks so lovely and green 🥰. I had tandori king prawn 🍤 and it was so good 😊. We were served some nice snacks while free of charge while we waited for our food. No reservation required.
Great food. Went there on bank holiday last Monday, great atmosphere and welcoming. We been offered poppadoms plate and in mean time we ordered our food. Precisely when we finished our poppadoms we were kindly asked if we are ready for our starters then after that our main course. The service was absolutely great and friendly food was right on time and it was delicious. My daughter which is little lover of tandoori chicken even said: " its the best food ever want to eat here every day". Overall again very good I loved my rogan josh very nice food. Highly recommended.
Four of us went to Castle Spice for my birthday an a Monday night. It was quiet with only one or two others tables occupied.
We were welcomed at the door and sat at a table overlooking the square. The interior is very nicely decorated with a warm ambience.
Papadums and chutneys were brought. We had a couple of starters; Tandoori Chicken which was served off the bone (and wasn't on the menu) and vegetable samosa's.
For mains, we had a Chicken & Mushroom Vindaloo, Tandoor King Prawns, Chicken Tikka Massala and Lamb Rogon Josh. Three lemon pilau's (which was delicious) and garlic naans rounded it off.
We also had four drinks.
The total cost was just short of £100 which we felt was very reasonable for the excellent meal we had.
We would definitely go again to the lovely restaurant.

First takeaway from these tonight 29/07 the riyads box plenty of flavour enough for two nice mix of meats and rice chips curry all for £19.00 time from order to collection 15 minutes can't fault them will be using again.
Booked a table, we were seated straight away. Had a chutney tray and poppadoms, everything was fresh. Given 5 options of sauces with poppadoms. I had the honeywala, which was something I'd never seen in other Indians. It was creamy and sweet with lots of chicken. My partner had South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken, had the right amount of spice and was plentiful. We shared a keema rice & masala chips and we were full leaving. The atmosphere was lovely, and it was very modern inside. The staff were really attentive, and offered information on meals when we were deciding.
Very friendly staff, really comfy chairs (as someone with a bad back this matters!) and fantastic food. Highly recommended
