Very good value for money given the current cost of living crisis. Very friendly and helpful staff. Always busy. My wife and I enjoyed our meals so much we returned again on the Thursday. Can’t think of any improvements you could make other than providing free food and drink.
This is the first time I went in here and it was great. The menu was good and the staff were friendly and also helpful too. The atmosphere was nice and the band that were performing that night were amazing! 👍🏻😀 There's a few bench tables outside which is lovely. I'd say the prices are reasonably priced too. I would recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone. Definitely coming back here soon.
We were a party of 9 for lunch on fathers day, staff were very busy, but still catered to our every need, food came out together, hot and we all enjoyed. Didn't stay for dessert as there would have been a 45 min wait, but over all we were happy with the service.
I ordered the 14oz Gammon and chips which was out of this World. It was accompanied with 2 pineapple rings, 2 fried eggs, garden peas and chips. The Gammon was beautifully cooked and was very lean and full of flavour. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The company was excellent. All in all a fantastic night out.
Alex the supervisor had great customer service, and helped with downloading the app. He went above and beyond, making my visit so enjoyable. We were a table of 5 as it was my birthday, he was very attentive and we were all very satisfied customers. What a star.
Excellent service and food, even my picky kids found the food not just pleasing to the sight and smell but to taste too - that is an achievement in itself?! 😁
We noted that there was just a small portion of chips coming with our dishes, however we also found that it was just the right amount once started with our choice of meat.
Additionally the dessert menu is rather limited but is indeed delicious?! The vegan option of Banoffee cake was absolutely delightful?! 😁
The only thing that bothered us was that some people were still smoking inside the premises, and even though we understand that they were regulars, the pub patrons, it is really difficult to breath in smoky place and eating as the same time when one is suffering with asthma and hay fever...
Pub was busy when I went in even though it was in the afternoon. Service was fast and efficient for both drinks and food. Had a couple of pints of Guinness which were excellent. My food was good too and served hot! I would definitely visit again when in the area
Managed to get a table, as quite a lot were already reserved. Ordered and took advantage of one of their offers. Food didn't take too long, and was enjoyable. Two mains - a hunters chicken and a mega mixed grill.
