Dreadful weather- went to Chips ahoy for a relatively large order - 9 meals! Two young people serving were polite pleasant and helpful! Food was exactly as ordered- freshly cooked and tasty thank you!

Bought cod and chips from here tonight. It was a rainy Wednesday night and it was busy in a good way! Cod and regular chips cost £11. Portion was filling. Service was quick considering thr number of customers waiting. Food was lovely, particularly the chips!

Fish and chips was excellent, and the service team were all very polite. I would highly recommend the fish and chips here. I've read some of the other reviews and they sound like utter nonsense!! I think there are a lot of nasty people trying to close this place down or something sinister as every time I've been to chips ahoy it's been a lovely experience and the quality of the food is as you would expect from a professional fish and chips shop. I think you should ignore the snotty reviews made up by this sinister mob of Muppets and go see for yourself. Trust me the dish and chips were amazing and really fresh and well cooked .I think you have to accept it for what it is, a fish and chips shop. It's not fine dining nonsense.

Fabulous crispy batter on delicious fish. Gorgeous chips. Superb 5 STAR customer service Beat Fish and Chip shop I have been to. Visited again today - 11th July. CHIPS WERE SO DISAPPOINTINGLY AWFUL 😩😩 Young man who was serving was told how bad they were- he obviously was not bothered! Such a pity as we call here every Friday.

We had the best fish and chips ever. Delicious light crispy batter beautifully cooked chips, the fish was so fresh. Service was excellent. Really enjoyed our meal.
