Carbonara, Trattoria & Bar

Our first visit since their reopening, and the redecoration looked lovely. Service was good, but was a little too in your face a couple of times. Food was lovely, though the scallops starter was very disappointing with three tiny scallops wrapped in the most meagre piece of pancetta I’ve seen, with about a tablespoon of spinach underneath. However, the mains (steak) were nice and cooked to perfection, but annoyingly the chef had plonked it right in top of all the veg, so just a presentation thing. Overall, a pleasant return to an old favourite, but just needs a few issues to iron out

** They’re back ** After 8 months of missing our favourite place to eat they’re back with a bang!! New decor, new menu with a tapas style is amazing!! Our family has grown up in this amazing family restaurant and our boys cried when they closed. Now it’s back and better than before. We had 4 starters 2 small mains and a pudding and they were stunning. So good we are going back in 3 days. We love these guys and their amazing restaurant

i liv in Twickenham i came here to try this italian because my friend told me about it . proper old school italian . fantastic gem of a place staff are so friendly and attend your every need and attention to detail also the food was excellent. try this place it is 6 stars the flavour in my mouth is phenomenal.
