The rating is based on the experience vs expectations. It's not the ritz, but I really do like it here. Especially given the current climate with everything costing a fortune, coming here was a real joy. The food is exceptionally well priced with good portions and some creative menu items. The staff were super friendly, had a conversation with us and we left feeling good, and I don't think you could ask for anything for than that. We are looking forward to going back to trying out the sweet nachos with kit kat sauce!

I had a lovely dining experience on Friday evening with my family. The food was delicious and came out fairly quick. The waitresses were friendly especially Tia who made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back!

Kyle was our server this evening, he was attentive, knew the menu well & nothing was an inconvenience to him,
Josh the bartender was also lovely & happy to answer any questions,

New manager, new chef, new staff 👍
Have avoided this place for years just because of bad experiences, but have to say, since the new take over I’ve visited 4 times for breakfast, each times as good as the last.
Lovely food, full English highly recommended. Staff were attentive, polite and couldn’t do enough.
They finally have a chef that knows how to cook and better still, fry an egg!!
I would recommend if your looking for a very reasonable family diner.
I’m sure with the new team on board things will just keep on improving and it will get its rep back that it had 20 years ago ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food isn't the best quality but the value is amazing, it's not a reflection on the chef's, food is only as good as the ingredients supplied, so it's not really fair to complain. The staff are lovely, Courtney, Kyle and all of the bar / wait / cook staff work very hard. Thanks guys!

All food served piping hot and good attentive service from waitress who checked if we had everything we needed, kids burger and chips is spot on for the price! 1 star for atmosphere due to sticky table which hadn't been cleaned

NEW MANAGMENT HAS DONE WONDERS!
First time visiting under new management and wow what a difference!! Food was tasty but the service was exceptional. Staff were friendly and went above to help us out, especially with all our food intolerance.
New manager is expecially helpful aswell as Courtney. We stopped coming for a while due to lack of service and standards but we will ge back again very soon!!

Spotted Cow has amazing staff. Friendly and easily approachable staff. Staff have been in and out been running around in this heat all afternoon , haven't seen them stop. But all done with smiles.

Party of ladies Friday night.
Food delicious. The pink prosecco was delicious... Many bottles later lol. Jake was our server. He was so funny , a joy to have when your out on a Christmas meal with friends. So thank you from us all.
