Eldene Chinese Takeaway

Been twice now both times the food was absolutely gorgeous, I’m a contractor who travels across the uk so I eat in a lot of takeaways, this is right up there in my top 5 Chinese takeaways in the uk, flavours are there food is really fresh and not dripping in oil, so far I’ve had the Salt an pepper ribs,, shredded crispy chilli chicken, fried rice, Singapore chow mein & Salt an pepper chicken, all have been excellent.

Always friendly people behind the service counter. The food is so nice. Mixed curry is great, and you get big chunks of meat as well. The curry sauce is not too spicy or overpowering. The egg fried rice is so nice, and their omelette is gorgeous. The mushrooms they use are so tasty. The spring rolls are nice as well, but a little oily, though. The only downside was that they only took cash, but its right by a cashpoint so easy to get cash out the cashpoint. There is no dine in at this place either. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend.

First time i saw a double takeaway in one premises. Fish and chips and chinese restaurant. Staff are friendly and the food is great. Very affordable food and fast service. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Only down side is its a cash only premises. I would suggest to provide card payment option as we are moving into contactless era.

Best Chinese in Swindon! We have been going to Eldene for years. We have gone to other places and some were awful and some are good, in which we still go to from time to time, but Eldene is our go to. The owner knows us and other family members by name and always takes the time to come from the kitchen or serving to come and say hello. Would highly recommend to anyone iys lovely food
