The Chef reccomendI have visited this place several times as on Sunday and Thursday they run a all you can eat and drink (and that includes alcohol) deal .The food is cooked fresh and is very good although the service is abit on the slow side . We last visited this wweek where we were told that the priice had jumped up by 8 quid because it was xmas ..no mention of this on the website or menu what a cheek .So is he going to do it cheaper in January ? We refused to pay the extra and threatened to leave and the bill went down .took the edge off what is normally a great evening
Went here for all you can Eat and Drink curry on a Sunday Evening , not Buffet style you choose of menu. They do this on a Thursday and Sundays only. But we have a take out quite often THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD. Bengal also do very good curries sit down or take out which is delivered free. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Love this restaurant the staff here are so attentive and friendly nothing is too much for them and the food is lovely and fresh
Had a very enjoyable meal here this evening. Plenty of choice and portions are big. Great value and would recommend to others. The waiter was very friendly and polite. Will be returning soon.
Ordered last week, the meal was bland and the only thing we could taste was salt- lots of it. The coconut was anything but coconut ( again salt) . There were 5 small pieces of chicken in a £9.90 Chicken Rogan and the most awful sag bhaji have ever seen and tasted. The meal went in the bin and I rang to complain . After a bit of a battle I asked for a replacement meal but not that night as the salt had put everyone off. Ordered the same meal again on Saturday and minus the salt it was tasteless and bland. The chilli curry had no chilli in it and the rest was awful. I was looking for a decent Indian takeout but won't be ordering again. What a waste of time, effort and money!
We had the eat and drink as much as you like and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Not like some other restaurants where they try and rush you, if anything a little too slow but you need that time to taste the various starters and mains. Excellent quality good at a really great price. Friendly service will get us going back for sure.
If you love spicy curry your love this place. Food service and ambiance spot on. Take away always great and the offers they send you after a couple of visits are unreal. Example curry for 2 with sides and rice and bread £20. Give it a go you will never go anywhere else in Swindon after
Feeling lazy and wanting to keep the wife happy, ordered an Indian Takeaway from the Bengal Square in West Swindon. We hadn't eaten here / ordered a takeaway for a while, from the Bengal Square, so thought we'd give it another go. Ordered a meal deal (2 mains, 2 rice & a side), another veggie curry and the usual starters for a shade over £30 delivered. All good food (though the veggie curry was hot), for a good price delivered. Only downside was we ordered as soon as they opened at 5pm, but it took an hour to be delivered - a little anoying given we live less than a mile away.
Went with my son for a 'dad and lad' meal and was well impressed with cleanliness and high quality of food. Poppadoms to start and pickle tray was very appetising. We had a chicken madras and chicken jalfrezi and shared a plain rice. Really enjoyed the whole experience and will certainly return again. Thank you
We have eaten a takeaway from Bengal Square quite a few times however, this time, the Nan bread was rock hard and the chicken in our curry was like rubber. Totally put me off ordering from here in the future.
I went to Bangla square for the first time with my friends. When I entered I was not comfortable but after 15 minutes I feel good because the crowd was amazing. All were enjoying their meals.
