The Kings Head

Absolutely brilliant, we first went when the lockdown restrictions were lifted and have been back numerous times since ! Brilliant atmosphere with fast table service..... They keep to the Covid guidance 100% which some people may think is just more hassle but yet it’s actually helping keep everyone safe and is actually the law now so all credit to the staff and owners .... They made us feel welcome every single time we have been and actually managed to get chatting to one of the bar staff and also the landlady tonight it was lovely. The back area they have refurbished is so fresh, quality finished, covid friendly and spacious with a relaxing atmosphere feel to it with the nighttime lights . I know there is a lot of pubs in swinton and a couple of them are 70p cheaper per pint of carling than the kings head but for the service/ friendly staff/ quick table service/ covid strict rules/ relaxing fresh tables and setting on the back I would rather pay that 70p extra per pint (by the way it’s only £3.30 per pint of carling by the way not overpriced at all!) Oh!...... forgot to mention.......and the toilets are actually clean not full of piss on the floor/ no bog roll everywhere or the floor flooded and the hand dryer actually works and is powerful enough to actually dry your hands and there is also hand wash too lol! Keep it up , already planned for a family meal one day next week so will message you to book in and also planned for a date night next Friday , thankyou so much :)

Regulars in the Kings Head, great bar staff especially Zoe who always greets us with a smile and hello (also makes a huge fuss of our daughter whi tries to teach Zoe the floss!) Stacy and Martin are always friendly and accommodating (even at the last minute). Hospitality is awesome and food is fantastic (highly reccomend the breakfast burger) and the cheesecake pudding is to die for. Well worth a visit!!!
