Ate here at teatime and the food was incredible. All cooked from fresh, good portions , lovely and clean and great staff. If everyone recommends who eats here, they will be booked solid.
Will certainly be visiting again, our new place for dining out.

Booked a table, and enjoyed a wonderful meal celebrating my aunt's 85th birthday today. Hats off to everyone - the chef, kitchen staff and front of house.
The food is delicious 😋, the staff very friendly and efficient, and the King's Head is immaculate. Well worth a visit. Highly recommendable. 👍😍
Beautiful food, lasagna & sirloin steak were so tasty (little hiccup with steak but rectified immediately). Super polite staff who couldn't do enough for you. New government guidelines followed perfectly-well done. Will recommend a visit and will return again.

Absolutely brilliant, we first went when the lockdown restrictions were lifted and have been back numerous times since ! Brilliant atmosphere with fast table service.....
They keep to the Covid guidance 100% which some people may think is just more hassle but yet it’s actually helping keep everyone safe and is actually the law now so all credit to the staff and owners ....
They made us feel welcome every single time we have been and actually managed to get chatting to one of the bar staff and also the landlady tonight it was lovely. The back area they have refurbished is so fresh, quality finished, covid friendly and spacious with a relaxing atmosphere feel to it with the nighttime lights .
I know there is a lot of pubs in swinton and a couple of them are 70p cheaper per pint of carling than the kings head but for the service/ friendly staff/ quick table service/ covid strict rules/ relaxing fresh tables and setting on the back I would rather pay that 70p extra per pint (by the way it’s only £3.30 per pint of carling by the way not overpriced at all!)
Oh!...... forgot to mention.......and the toilets are actually clean not full of piss on the floor/ no bog roll everywhere or the floor flooded and the hand dryer actually works and is powerful enough to actually dry your hands and there is also hand wash too lol!

I can't fault this place. We randomly found it after taking our car to a garage for a service and had a couple of hours to kill. We came for the all you can eat breakfast (£5.50 inc a drink)
The breakfast was great, typical English fry up, but the staff I have to say made it for me. We spoke to the chef and a barman and both were lovely, really nice guys.
Great staff, good cheap fry up, what more can you ask for on a Saturday morning.
Lovely food, I'd recommend u book a table if u want to eat and there is more than 2 people as it gets very busy. Weds evening us any bottle of wine for £9.99. I was charged £12.99 and only when I mentioned it 30mins later when ordering food, I was immediately refunded. But look out for special offers on the boards in the pub. Nice atmosphere...
Had a great sunday dinner, good selection of meats .& veg. Always plenty of folk in, better to book a table before you go as to guarantee a table. Good selection of beers & spirits & kid friendly. Friendly bar staff & waitresses. Never had a bad meal

Great place to meet eat and drink with family and friends. A wide choice of home cooked food great value for money in a nice atmosphere friendly staff. Will return again and highly recommend to everyone. Thanks for a great night.
