Lovely, cozy cafe with very kind and friendly staff (owner?). The Lean Green Smoothie is absolutely delicious - and vegan. We were visitors in sydenham but went three times during our stay.

I regularly eat here for a simple reason and that is that the food and service is great. Best coffee on the road and always worth the wait. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. Good diverse menu and always worth trying something new.

Arrived hungry at the cafe’, on a grey London morning, I asked for something which was not on the menu.
After my order was taken, there comes the chef asking details about my order.
Not only I had what I asked for, even if it was not on the menu, but it was very tasty indeed and.. because I liked it so much, I had some more of it for free.
What else would one want?
Kindness shining like the sun.
And no, I do not know any of the staff! :)

We went there for lunch. The food was so delicious, We had the falafel wrap and Algerian sausage, which is a big portion that came with salad and chips, and for a drink, we got orange and carrot juice. I recommend it and I will go back again and again.

You have to try and eat here at least once. For a humble little cafe on Sydenham road, it has bloody fantastic food. The Chicken Schawarma wrap, Merguez, the Algerian salads. It's awesome!
The coffee is superb, and the hospitality is lovely. The barista and the cooks are very friendly and clearly love what they do.
