This is my fourth time here in a couple of years. Best scones tea and cream! Love the sandwiches here and the location too! Love the polka dotted tables and the very friendly hosts! It's a good place to watch the river and wind down with hot food or a pot of tea! The hot chocolate which I tried this time was fantastic ! With a bit of hazelnut ! Perfect for autumn .

Very warm and great service. We had a cream tea and capuccino cake. The scones are warm and fresh, good tea, but capuccino cake was on the sweet side. first come first serve seating, definitely worth it

Lovely food, nice staff and a beautiful location. Shame about the rip off parking though... you only get a choice of all day parking? There were a few spaces specifically for customers at the front of the venue, but we weren't aware of that, having never been before.

Made to feel very welcome, food gorgeous, baguettes wonderful (amazing bread!!!), lovely homemade cakes and sweet waitresses. Went twice on weekend stay with my daughter, will definitely visit again.

Lovely tea garden. Great selection of cakes. They do a brilliant Cream tea! Terrace is overlooking the river Wye at one of the most beautiful places, very conveniently situated just opposite the hand drawn ferry to Symonds Yat West at the other bank of the river. Friendly staff as well!

It's set in a lovely area which gets really busy at the weekends, the service was spot on and the scones we ordered was gorgeous. The price seems to be relevent to all of the other places around, but still wasn't that bad. Shame there wasn't a option for tea leaves but that's a bit finicky on my behalf.

We have just had a delicious afternoon tea for two at Rose Cottage Tea Rooms. One gluten free scone and one normal fruit scone, both yummy! Superb service with amazing views.

I understand that the tearoom was flooded during the winter and is still not open. When i called to book the lady on the phone was so very helpful and nice that i am sure i will go there when it is open and that it will be a good experience. Pleasant and helpful service and i hope things go well.

Nice setting. Helpful staff and tasty food. The river views provide hours of entertainment as you can watch the canoe tours. The parking can be a bit limited with a single track entrance to the east of symonds yat. River walks and access to the hill climb to the yat

One of my favourite places to just relax and watch the world go by. Always good food and coffee, can't fault them. Fast and friendly service, beautiful surroundings.
