Such a lovely atmosphere. Delicious food, roaring fire and somewhere to dry our snowy gloves! Usually when you go to a pub with 7 young children it is (at best) a traumatic experience, but not so at Ye Old Ferrie Inn - I can’t even begin to describe the welcome we received from the landlord who was so genuine, friendly and accommodating. Thank you to all of the staff - we had a lovely time:)

Lovely pub, happy staff, great beer, food and gin! A beautiful, tranquil location, watched the river roll by from a very cosy bed and a fantastic breakfast. A perfect night away.

What a setting! Only stopped for an afternoon beer (and very nice too) and we sat outside overlooking the Wye in full flood. Just wonderful. Those inside were certainly enjoying the food and the view. Great atmosphere. A good friend told me he'd had the best steak he'd ever tasted there. Next time!

Went here for lunch on Saturday. They only just managed to squeeze us in, so I would advise booking if you can. I had steak and my friend had a burger, we were both very happy with our meal. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly and welcoming, the the service was also very good. We had a window seat with a view of the river, all in all a totally enjoyable experience.

My friend treated me to birthday supper here and the food was delicious. We had an inside table and the place was almost full at 6pm. I had whitebait and then the veg roast wellington - both were full of flavour, generous portions and I am still mentioning them to other people because so tasty.

Stayed locally with our 2 children for a long weekend and tried our luck and dropped in to eat , all tables were reserved but they found us one by the window with a view of the river , drinks were superb local ales and gins and the food was exceptional , the best steak i had eaten in years 4 of us all had different meals all served at the same time fresh and hot . Cant wait to go back

We visited as a family of 9 on a Friday evening. When booking I was able to select which part of the restaurant we wanted to sit in and chose the section which overlooks the river. The poor weather somewhat spoiling the view was quickly remedied by our lovely server. (Sorry, I can't remember the name but do remember his bright pink nails!) He was super patient when working around our large and rather indecisive group and was consistently friendly and in high spirits. Various burgers were ordered by a few members of the group, none of which could be finished because the portions were so generous, but all were thoroughly enjoyed! The fishcake and sirloin were also particular hits. Two of us also had the lamb which was just amazing. A huge amount of meat and the red wine sauce was delicious! Our coeliac family member was also well catered for as there was so much choice on the menu for her. We can't wait to visit again for another special occasion!

Where to start! The staff are friendly, and helpful. Actually, make that fantastic. They offered to and then brought our cases up 3 small, but steep flights of stairs and back down in the morning (Its an old amazing building). The food service was great, not rushed and tasty. The breakfast was all fresh local ingredients, delicious and served with a great attitude and conversation. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious, clean, excellent facilities. The views are incredible. I wished we had more time to stay longer. It was truly spot on.

Lovely spot for a sit in the sun and have a few drinks and food. The food tasted amazing although the salad part of the ceasar salad was a bit on the sparse side. We visited on a very hot day and there wasn't sun sades available for every table so we ended up speed eating so we could get out of the midday sun again! Good selection of drinks available and nice options for children who all had no complaints about their meals!
