The Ulleskelf Arms is recently under new management and they have done an amazing job with the revamp. The atmosphere is welcoming, variety of drinks is good and the food is highly recommended. The Sunday roast was great and we will be returning again to try the rest of the menu. They usually have weekly events ranging from quizzes, beer festivals and food vans that are always great quality. Definitely worth a trip out!

What a nice little place this is....the outside seating area was lovely albeit this is weather permitting! I'm from London so the prices for me are inexpensive! Will definitely be visiting again in the near future with friends!

My boyfriend and I visit this place now and then as its just down the road from us. It's usually quiet at weekends but the food has always been excellent. The staff are very friendly and its a very modern, comfortable venue. Also they have a very sweet, well behaved pub dog. Would recommend.

We live local and looked around for somewhere to eat as a treat. We thought... why look afar? We will try Ulleskelf Arms and see what it’s like. The pub has had a makeover and is very clean and has a stylish modern cosy feel to it. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a starter and a main and honestly... it was gorgeous. Would I recommend it? Definitely. Reasonably priced. Gorgeous food. Great staff. Sent from my iPhone

Fantastic local pub, the owners and staff are very attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The food is amazing (especially the pies), big portions and very reasonably priced! It is dog friendly, the dog that lives there is more than happy to share his home with other dogs and your pup may find a treat or two headed their way.

This pub has been modernised in recent years and lies in a sleepy village close to a railway line that runs to York. The pub seems very much a locals place but is friendly enough and appears to do well at the food trade. Good hand pumped real ale and an interesting selection of food dishes. Short beef ribs in a sticky sauce, beef cheeks, pork and black pudding, fish and chips were some of the dishes on a medium sized menu. The food quality was excellent when we ate there and I could thoroughly recommend it.

What a beautiful little pub, found on passing, as driving about looking for food. Firstly, this place should be packed. Just enough on the menu as to not start 'umm'ing and ah'ing' over choices. I think this is good so there isn't any compromising quality over quantity. For starters, between us we had the mushroom soup, fish cakes and chicken liver parfait. Nothing to fault. Mains, we had one of beef, chicken and the pork. Again, no faults. Delicious, from the perfectly cooked meat, to the veggies and home cooked Yorkshire, a big bonus. Puddings, well I was last man standing and chose the creme brulee. I got greedy and needed the wife to help out. Bosh, 3 out of 3, very good, and very rich 😀 . All this we very friendly happy staff, we will return, with more people. Photos don't do it justice, come and try the place, you won't be disappointed.
