The Three Horseshoes has got to be the best Pub for miles around.
As a live music venue there is nowhere better. Their food is brilliant, the staff and locals are really friendly, and the building itself is brimming with olde world charm.
Nearest pub we could find to Stansted Airport. 12 of us eventually found it and had a great night, top food , drinks and service. Will return next time we stay at Stansted and recommend to friends and colleagues in BF.
Loved this experience. Great family run pub with good food, good beer and great owners. Wish I had more time to spend discussing the history of the pub over a few pints.

Booked for a Sunday lunch last week for myself and my mate. Bit of a trek from the airport. With the walk done the food was excellent, beers reasonably priced, staff fantastic. Will be returning. Many thanks for a great afternoon.
Excellent food and great value. The owners who bought the pub a year ago are really welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed the evening so much we're booked a table on our return journey to Stansted. Wish this pub was on my doorstep
Had an enjoyable lunch here. The premises was clean and the staff friendly. The food was good with a moderate portion, well cooked. I would have liked a little garnish with my ham egg a chips being my only negative observation. The beer was tasty and the ale well kept. I would certainly dine here again
Lovely English pub, in an ancient and characteristic building (not sure whether it's listed).
Good food, honest prices. I had the chicken breast, the daily special. was OK, a bit dry but tasty. I asked with vegetables instead of the salad. They were delicious, possibly one of the first pub where they were cooked food and they were tasting something.
Just a bit disappointed at the last with the dessert. They don't seem to have anything home made other than their androgen cheese cake. I went for it, but the chocolate sauce was the one suitable for ice creams which was not marrying up with the rest. The save with the whisked spray cream.
Service is OK, but perfectible.
The pub can be reached by a public footpath from the main Stansted terminal. So if your flight is delayed, you may consider a 15 mins walk to eat healthier and cheaper food.
Absolutely fantastic Pub almost on the runway at Stansted Airport.
Very friendly people and a brilliant Sunday Dinner.
Will definitely come again
A wonderful little Historical place for drinks, fabulous food & ambiance. Must try the fish & chips and steak & ale pie.
The Staff is super!
We enjoyed an evening meal there so much we went back for Sunday lunch... which was absolutely delicious and the Cheesecakes were amazing! Great value for money.
Nice country pub, local feeling with lovely staff who accommodated me without booking for food and drinks late in the evening 😁👍🏻
Had a Sunday roast here today.....got to say one of the best I've had in a pub in along time!! 100% recommended.
