A few weeks ago we visited and had a lovely meal, my partner ate the second-best steak of his life. The whole experience was great, service was friendly and efficient with an excellent selection of drinks and cocktails and very fairly-priced. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Had lunch yesterday, lovely food, not anything frozen in sight, it was all freshly cooked and is excellent value for money. Staff are great and looked after us well and for once eating out, we were not addressed as "guy's". The pub itself is a lovely venue, is dog friendly and a great place to just stop off for a drink whilst out for a walk. I cannot fault it and will be returning again in the very near future.

Without doubt the best pub in Cheshire. Always welcoming, always good food. Even the dog enjoyed his biscuits and bowl of water!

Lovely evening with friends, great quality food & drinks. The lamb shoulder that I had was superb, and such a large quantity I struggled to finish. My wife had the fish pie, & friends had the duck, which again was cooked superbly. Great friendly staff were courteous & polite, all in all a great evening and we hope to return soon.

Wonderful Sunday roasts my lamb just melted off the bone and the beef was delicious! Friendly helpful staff nothing was too much trouble , found a mug for my son to use with his difficult grip and gave him a package of flap jack for his tuck box tomorrow after he ate 5 pieces whilst there

Gorgeous pub made even more gorgeous by the staff. I think we counted 4 members of staff, all of them were so attentive and friendly. We met the landlord who was very welcoming as we explained we’d been viewing a property in the village. Made us want to buy the house, based on the local alone!

We had a lovely family meal here with delicious food options for everyone. There were a few really good vegan options and good choices for the children too. The atmosphere of this old pub is lovely and it was nice to sit beside the log fire on a cold day. There are some nice walks in the village and nearby if you need to help your lunch go down.

This lovely old pub is in a fantastic setting. We all really enjoyed our food here. It's nice to have a children's menu which isn't just the usual burgers etc. Staff are friendly and beer is good. Why can't more places be like this?

A very welcoming and friendly pub to visit. Good mix of people popping in for a drink with the dog or settling in for dining. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good range of cask ales, lagers and an impressive wine offering. Prices for drinks seem plenty reasonable. Food is clearly well made on site and to a very high standard. Excellent quality and well worth the price.

The Dysart Arms wins the Captain's award for 2023. Excellent on all fronts. The Chicken and Ham pie is to die for. Fish and Chips and Fish sandwich were also great. If the weather is good, go outside! And then, enjoy the inside with another pint...

A fantastic pub that we have visited many times. Picturesque setting with lots of history. The menu has something for everyone and the food is delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive and the bar has some great selections to choose from. There is a nice beer garden too! Parking is available but limited. I forgot to take photos of the food, but did manage to grab a pic of desserts....the Pina colada sundae and the brownie!

A lovely country style pub with personality and and very welcoming. The food is fantastic, I had a bau bun with oyster mushrooms and it was delicious. The menu is varied with lots of different styles of food as well as pub classics. My family had the Sunday lunch and said it was amazing. The service was very good The staff were attentive and friendly. Dog friendly too. Third time I have been and will be back.

Had Sunday lunch here. We asked for a bar table next to the fire which was lovely, not as formal as the main dining room. I had the veggie Sunday roast option that was amazing - best veggie meal I have had in ages. Service was lovely as usual, not rushed but not slow. Wish I had had room for dessert, will have to go just for pudding one day!!

Met with friends for lunch, we chose the Dysart Arms as we have been before. Once again we had an excellent meal. Food quality is very good, well cooked and portions were spot on. The service was also excellent, from friendly and efficient staff. The menu was varied and catered well for all tastes. I really cannot find anything negative to say.
