A few weeks ago we visited and had a lovely meal, my partner ate the second-best steak of his life. The whole experience was great, service was friendly and efficient with an excellent selection of drinks and cocktails and very fairly-priced. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.
We had a lovely family meal here with delicious food options for everyone. There were a few really good vegan options and good choices for the children too.
The atmosphere of this old pub is lovely and it was nice to sit beside the log fire on a cold day. There are some nice walks in the village and nearby if you need to help your lunch go down.
Located in a charming village, the pub is incredibly welcoming, cosy and full of character. The staff are very friendly and polite. Food is delicious and fresh. There seemed to be lots of regulars and locals enjoying the food and atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!
This lovely old pub is in a fantastic setting. We all really enjoyed our food here. It's nice to have a children's menu which isn't just the usual burgers etc.
Staff are friendly and beer is good. Why can't more places be like this?
A very welcoming and friendly pub to visit. Good mix of people popping in for a drink with the dog or settling in for dining. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Good range of cask ales, lagers and an impressive wine offering. Prices for drinks seem plenty reasonable.
Food is clearly well made on site and to a very high standard. Excellent quality and well worth the price.
The Dysart Arms wins the Captain's award for 2023. Excellent on all fronts. The Chicken and Ham pie is to die for. Fish and Chips and Fish sandwich were also great. If the weather is good, go outside! And then, enjoy the inside with another pint...
A fantastic pub that we have visited many times. Picturesque setting with lots of history.
The menu has something for everyone and the food is delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive and the bar has some great selections to choose from. There is a nice beer garden too!
Parking is available but limited.
I forgot to take photos of the food, but did manage to grab a pic of desserts....the Pina colada sundae and the brownie!
A lovely country style pub with personality and and very welcoming.
The food is fantastic, I had a bau bun with oyster mushrooms and it was delicious. The menu is varied with lots of different styles of food as well as pub classics. My family had the Sunday lunch and said it was amazing.
The service was very good The staff were attentive and friendly. Dog friendly too. Third time I have been and will be back.
Really nice pub 👍🏻 everytime when we come over from Germany we stop here for a dice dinner and a good drink. Food here is always excellent and a good selection 👍🏻

Had Sunday lunch here. We asked for a bar table next to the fire which was lovely, not as formal as the main dining room. I had the veggie Sunday roast option that was amazing - best veggie meal I have had in ages. Service was lovely as usual, not rushed but not slow. Wish I had had room for dessert, will have to go just for pudding one day!!
Met with friends for lunch, we chose the Dysart Arms as we have been before. Once again we had an excellent meal. Food quality is very good, well cooked and portions were spot on. The service was also excellent, from friendly and efficient staff. The menu was varied and catered well for all tastes. I really cannot find anything negative to say.
