Collected our family lunch on saturday, and whilst waiting in the queue, the manager was approached by a couple wanting to return their sausage roll for a refund complaining it was dry. The girl explained that she could not return food, it is all freshly cooked on the same day and they were welcome to speak with customer services if they were unhappy. They continued to debate and their attitudes and manner grew ruder. They raised their voices at the girl who asked that they not speak with her in this manner and if they continued they would need to leave the store. This angered them and they began to shout abuse and comments to the girl. She remained calm and politely asked them to leave.
Having been in retail for over 20 years, I would like to say how well the girl handled this and acted professional and calm at all times and dealt with the matter in such a collected manner despite the customers agression.
