Very tasty food, both ordered duo of lamb the only thing we both agreed on was the lamb fritter didn't feel right on that dish but otherwise Starters and main very delicious with the exception of the fritter. Service was excellent very accommodating and helpful.
The best option seemed to be the sharing plates/starters which my friends ordered and enjoyed. The cheese and leek pie was delicious but the beans were over microwaved and the chunky chips undercooked. The halloumi burger was pretty tasty. I was very excited to try all the desserts but they were a bit of a let down. The eton mess with mango and passion fruit was very sweet which is saying something from me as I have a big sweet tooth. The smaller size with coffee would have been a better option. The kids brownie with ice cream was a good size but again overly sweet, almost a grainy texture. The creme brulée was ok, not the best I've eaten and not the worst.
Busy place , carpark was full at 17.30 ,there is an overflow carpark at the end of the normal one.Seated straight away, service was excellent, food was excellent, average price for a restaurant , we all had the Sunday roast and could not fault it
