Food was great! Gravy was nice and tasty, good roast potatoes and parsnips were fantastic! Could have done with another slice of beef, not as much as I'd have thought you'd have. Service on welcome very good and the member of staff very pleasant. Sadly left to our own devices for quite a while, then had to get a round of drinks whilst still eating as no one came to our table. We then had to go and find someone to order dessert. Admittedly they were busy and to be honest you can see why as the food was very good! Would come here again for a carvery and overall we enjoyed our visit. Hopefully next time the service will be slightly better.

First time my family and I had been here. Food was great, veg a little hard. Service was terrible. We got there at 2.50pm for booking at 3.00pm. We were seated and waited 25minutes before being told we can use the Carvery. When we finish eating we waited another 20 minutes before being asked if we want dessert then waited 10 minutes so we left.

Food was lovely, good facilities, plenty of space between tables so even when its busy, it doesn't feel too crowded. Only issue was a bit of confusion by staff re missing drinks and making us wait for our booked table despite it actually being ready for 45 minutes. Could easily put this human error down to being busy and the heat.

Lovely place ! I was surprised to see a very extensive menu along side a carvery that is almost open all day ,every day of the week! Soup starter was homemade and absolutely delicious, tomato with a nice swirl of cream and homemade croutons. For mains me and my daughter had a carvery, good selection of meats , all nice and hot, you can help yourself to crackling , stuffing and yorkies , veg was cooked well , if you like parsnips definitely pop some on your plate as they are delicious! Also have the option of dauphinoise potatoes on the carvery. My young lad had mac and cheese from the child's menu , again very nice! Comes with homemade garlic bread and a nice fresh side salad . Staff lovely, friendly and professional . Will definitely be back and hopefully we will have room for dessert, thank you for a delicious meal 😋.

Popped in today with my wife and Inlaws for the carvery lunch. The meat was all cooked perfectly and all the veg tasted great. Carrots were cut a little too thin but that was the only negative. Potato were soft on the inside with a light crisp outside 👌 this was the best carvery Iv had in years. Great value for money too. Definitely going again soon.
