Currently on holiday and found this place by chance! Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time! Staff are amazing and so friendly and polite! Very honest with portion sizes too, me and my daughters were sharing, I ordered 2 of the same meal and they immediately said I’d just have one for now as it’s fairly big, we didn’t finish one portion because we had starters as well which are not little either! So glad we didn’t order the second! Hopefully will be able to fit a second visit in before we head back home 🤞🏼 the fact it’s in a boozer is just weird but it totally works brilliantly!

First time I've been to a pub run and catered by South East Asians. Food was Chinese/Korean. I asked for my beef to be extra spicy and coming from London I noticed the difference from what I'm used to and to what to what I got. I guess that's made to cater to local taste. That said, the meats and vegetables were cooked to all we ordered were cooked to perfection. The grilled dumplings were great and the crispy duck was so good that my slightly fastidious family were more than taken with this dish. Portion sizes was just right. Place was busy and this showed how popular the joint is. Owners were extremely friendly, attentive and on point. Would I go back?? Most definitely.

Great host and delicious food at a very reasonable price. Sizzling three seafood, korean fried chicken and duck and pancakes were especially delicious. Ever so friendly and welcoming host and daughter! Will definitely eat here again, looking forward to it ☺️

Our first visit to the Fortune Inn was not disappointing in any way. Great food, prompt polite service and very covid safe! Only open for take away service at present but restaurant quality nevertheless. Thank goodness we found this gem.
(Two weeks prior to this we'd waited over 2 hrs for an delivery from another well known local Chinese restaurant only to be told that it hadn't even been cooked as 'lots of orders had come in after yours' and not an apology to be heard. Never again will we order from that one...we might as well have gone to China China to get that meal!).
5 stars for the Fortune Inn. Go there, you won't be disappointed!!
