Stunning food at very very good prices quite often these pubs serve up 2nd rate meat but my mixed grill was cooked well and meat was full of flavour and not dryed out. Well done to all will definatly be back A***
A really relaxed atmosphere we went in the afternoon to take advantage of the £5.00 meals but paid the £1 extra for the rump steaks the staff where very friendly
and polite . The meals where extremely good and hot and presented nicely we did not go for puddings straight away and waited till we was ok for the pudding we had the Melt in the middle chocolate pudding which was fantastic very good value for a family of 5 Adults we will certainly go back again.
Great staff, Sean, AJ and Jo lovely welcoming people, full of lovely banter. Great sharers and lovely soups, food and drink is never a problem here, and the staff are exceptional. Car park gets a little full with little option for parking in the village. The manager is also a lovely fellow, think his name is Neil.

Thank you to the serving team who were incredibly busy on Friday evening. The food was really good, the waiting time was not bad considering the volume of customers. Food allergy information was given promptly. Two starters, main & dessert, two beers & two soft drinks- very enjoyable.
We found the food to be very good, we asked for some food from the gluten free menu and was promptly given that menu. All in our party enjoyment the meal, there was one slight downside though, the server bringing the meals to the table was not overly observant and managed to tread on our dog's tail and foot. He did apologize but then almost did it again when he brought the other meals. ,,😔.
Went with 5 family members . All our meals were different but everyone said they were good. Great value as I had a 30% off voucher. Staff were helpful and polite. Nice atmosphere in the pub . Was able to reserve table online easily.
The staff when we arrived were friendly and welcoming.
The lady who took my order for drinks and meals was very nice. She forewarned me that the meals would take ‘half an hour’ to arrive (possibly because it was a bank holiday?) which I didn’t mind.
She brought our drinks over to save me doing it.
The meals were great.
The pub itself is attractive and comfortable.
Overall, very positive and we plan to visit again.
We met our daughter there for lunch during her midday work break. Because we were on a tight schedule, we arrived early so we could order the food before our daughter arrived. We asked how long it usually took to prepare and they said approximately 20 minutes and it came on time, perfect timing. The food was very good and the chips are to die for! Everywhere looked lovely and clean and no sticky tables like some places we've visited. The staff were really friendly and polite. We came out thinking what a pleasant lunch we'd had. Would certainly recommend.
We had booked our table in Delias Den where we were able to relax with our dogs.
For some reason I was not able to find my 30% off voucher on my phone. However, Joanne very kindly honoured it, which was much appreciated and our “ultimate spicy burgers” (best in town😋) were, as always, very much enjoyed.
Straightforward and easy online booking system. Staff were extremely helpful and worked very hard during the time we were there. They had good knowledge of drinks and products. Food was good, served very hot and quickly too. Great experience all round!
Great service, good food and drink all reasonably priced
Lovely staff, good food at a reasonable price and a good varied menu. We were advised of a 30 minute wait for food as they were busy. This was very accurate and not a problem as we'd been told.
