Ashukaa is our local Indian restaurant and we really enjoy the food from here (we've had takeaway as well as sit in meals). Generally, we have an enjoyable experience.
The only negative for us is that sometimes the staff serving can seem a little abrasive. We can visit one week and have exceptional and friendly service and then another week we get treated fairly poorly for no reason and the server is just plain rude!
We do very much enjoy the food from here and will also say the staff were helpful when we visited with a friend who was vegan to ensure she ordered as per her diet which was nice.
Fabulous food in a modern looking Indian. Lacked a little atmosphere but we made our own. Service ok.
Had a great night with friends for the first time here. Food was good and tasty to. Service was great with effort put into making sure that everything was ok. Will go again.
Super friendly staff, very attentive without being too much. The food arrived reasonably quickly, as it was quite busy. The portions were just the right size, so we left feeling full but not absolutely stuffed and the food was delicious, sizzling and perfectly seasoned. Will definitely visit again.
I loved the service and I spoke to one of the staff (nabib) and he was very welcoming I have not seen him since. The food was nice and the atmosphere was warm.
No question best Indian around for miles. We started coming here when we lived locally, nine years ago. We have now moved ten miles away and having tried all in new area will still travel the ten miles there & ten miles back. Absolutely faultless. Never in all this time have we felt disappointed. Staff are helpful & friendly. Keep up the good work.

What a gem of a find!!! Open and airy, lots of choices on the menu and you can ask for specific items.
The service was top class, the gentlemen who served us were pleasant and polite, nothing was too much trouble.
The food was hot delicious and presented beautifully. And the bill was not astronomical....

I visited with my husband and 3 year old daughter. We had booked a table for 6pm but had to wait for our table because it was so busy. There was a queue outside all night. But despite that the table service and food served was amazing. Once seated it was a great dining experience and would highly recommend this place. They delivered quality food on a very busy and demanding night.
Absolutely delicious meal. Served sizzling hot by pleasant waiter. The poppadoms and dips served while we waited for our main course, were crisp and the dips very tasty. A celebration with my husband and sister. A memorable meal to mark a memorable occasion. Desert ice cream delicious too.Highly recommended.
