Miller & Carter

For a chain restaurant, I enjoyed my experience here. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a starter of nachos which came very quickly, and our mains (steak) came fairly quickly too. Everything was hot and tasty, I would come back as its a very nice calm atmosphere in this restaurant.

Really enjoyed my steak experience this evening. Chris our server was great, as were Erin, Megan and Sarah. Very efficient with the drinks, food and the laying of the table. Food was amazing. 9oz rump and the butchers block was the best steak I’ve ever had cooked by chef Alex and Hayden. Really can’t wait to return! Very well done to all the staff.

Wonderful night spent celebrating a birthday, thank you. We booked a table online, the site has a clear, easy to follow reservation process and you get confirmation to your phone and email. Additionally we were able to notify during the reservation process that we required a gluten free menu. The restaurant is nicely lit (not too bright), it's open and very elegant. The staff were exceptionally attentive, friendly and had positive attitudes which greatly helped to keep the feel of the evening welcoming and relaxed. This is a major factor for me in deciding to return in the future, so thank you. On top of this, the service staff and chefs took the food allergy of one of our party seriously despite it not being one of the big fourteen, this allowed them to feel comfortable with their food options. On to my food, I had a beautiful 12oz sirloin that was medium-rare, it melted in the mouth and the accompanying sauted greens did actually come in a separate little dish but I put them together. It had a delightful little onion loaf and contray to the usual in other places, the grilled tomato was actually very pleasant and supplied a palette balancing flavour. This was all topped off by a stunning dessert and was exactly what the evening needed.

We have been to miller and carter multiple times and have always had a pleasant experience. It may look expensive but you definitely get what you pay for and it’s quality! I have only once had an issue with my food and it was exchanged immediately and I got a full refund which is amazing customer service.

Lovely atmosphere. I was served by Michelle who made it a great experience for me. I had the sticky chipotle chicken starter which was amazing in quality and portion size. Followed then by a 10oz grain fed sirloin medium rare with a peppercorn sauce. It was very good. I would recommend to anyone and I am looking forward to going back and trying other items on the brilliant menu.
