Golden Spoon Chinese Takeaway

The food was not to my usual satisfaction. I ordered special fried rice (image attached) I was confused as to why it was white rice with large pieces of egg, chicken and pork on top with sauce - it seemed as though it was not thoroughly cooked so I could not eat it. Maybe this is the standard in the Midlands as I am from London so put it down to 'cultural' differences but even the taste itself was quite sickening. The delivery was ok - I did not have to wait too long but I would rather have drank water and gone to bed instead of enduring this "food". PLEASE if you are thinking of ordering - DONT. The other chinese restaurants do not do delivery but save yourself money and just order pizza.. cant go wrong with bread and toppings lol. & GOOD LUCK if you do decide to order.

Wouldn't let me put zero stars. Delivery was over half an hour late. Driver and I checked the order, missing the rice, kind of important from a Chinese really. They've taken the phone off the hook, the driver hasn't returned with the rice so now I'm sat here fuming and starving on my wife's birthday. Thanks a lot for ruining what was the closest thing to excitement in the last 12 months! 2.1 stars is obviously faked reviews!

i wish i could give this place a 0 star rating! Absolutely shocking! i thought i would give this restaurant another try but i wish i didn't. the food was over 30 minutes late and when i tried to contact the restaurant 12 times they hung up on me after 2 seconds of answering my calls. i then tried contacting JUSTEAT as thats where i ordered my food from to be told it had already been delivered i looked outside to find out it hadn't i then told the so called person from JUSTEAT that it hadn't been delivered they then told me i would have to wait 48 hours for this to be checked and resolved by their investigating team. worst food and service ever...the food was cold and the chips weren't cooked properly. if i could save just one person from this place then i think my job is done. they need to be SHUT DOWN PERMANENTLY! even after all these bad reviews they have been given they dont seem to care and still serve food that is abysmal! i feel bad for all those people who thought that this food/restaurant is actually good!

Honestly wish I could give no stars. The food arrived 20 mins late, was cold. My delivery driver smelt disgusting. He walked up to my front door and I could smell him from 3 feet away. I threw up the food within 10 mins of eating it. 10/10 would not recommend. The chicken was VILE. The chips were undercooked and rock hard. The curry sauce was like jelly. Overall I’m very disappointed. I was looking forward to this treat but subsequently have been left hungry, ill and £24 less.
